APPT Seoul 2012
Seoul was announced as a new stop at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour APPT Season 5. The event will run from March the 7th until March the 11th 2012 and will take place at the fabulous Paradise Walkerhill Casino in Korea’s capital Seoul. Five events will be running during this time including Main Event Mega Satellite, No Limit Hold'em Teams Event, No Limit Hold'em Bounty, Pot Limit Omaha, High Rollers Event and of course the Main Event. With KRW 3,000,000 (apox. $2,600) buy-in
This is not the first time APPT comes to Seoul. In season 1 Ziv Bachar from Israel won $139,000 main prize when he came on top of the 186 player field and then in Series 2, Yoshihiro Tasaka from Japan won $128,000 and the title after he conquered 165 other participants.
The turn out this year is expected to be record breaking, however the field will capped at no more than 250 players.
