Seven days into the championship and Aussie Millions 2012 is in full swing now with Brendon Rubie and Dan Kelly having claimed their prizes, two events are out of the way and more and more players arriving to Melbourne daily including Erik Seidel, Gus Hansen, Jeffrey Lisandro, Randy Dorfman, Trstan Wade, Shawn Buchanan and Daniel Negreanu.
On Wednesday the 18th of January final ten players came back to the felt to play in the final of Aussie Millions 2012 Event 3. $1,100 No Limit Holdem Shootout. Oliver Speidel began the day in the chip lead with 384,500 chips. It took less than four and a half hours to crown the new champion. In the heads up it was a battle between Speidel and Sandeep Pulusani. Pulusani had a massive 4 to 1 chip lead at the start of the head-up. The heads up lasted just a few hands and Pulusani, a music blogger from the USA, took the victory and AUD$37,500 first prize.
