Aussie Millions 2012 Event 5 Final $1,100 No Limit Holdem Six Max Championship came to an end on Friday. Tom Middleton came on top of 385 player starting field.
When the final 18 players of Event 5 came back for the last day the action was very fast from the start. The first elimination, Tayna Puppa, happened in the very first hand of the game. Greg Ticker followed just a few moments later.
The next six all-ins resulted in bust-outs but then action slowed down again as the remaining short stacks began to fight back. Stefan Jedlicka, who began the day third in chips, fell in the eighth place after loosing three big pots in a row.

It took under tow hours for a seasoned pro, Tom Middleton to finish his opponents one by one and take the Champion’s title in Aussie Millions 2012 Event 5 and the top prize of AUD$84,200. In the final hand on the heads up he finished Dodd’s open-ended straight draw with a two pair.
