Aussie Millions 2012 Main Event Day 1c attracted the field of 317 players making the total number of entrants into the Main Event to 627. After seven rounds of the game the starting field was cut down to 150. Robert Lam finished at the top of the leaderboard for the day with 198,400 chips.

Most of top poker players entered the Main Event  at the last day so the room was filled with the stars like Erik Seidel, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Nam Le, Joe Hachem, Daniel Alaie, Jason Mercier, Mike Watson, Victor Ramdin, Sorel Mizzi, Tonny Bloom and Chris Moorman to name just a few. Ivey established an early chip lead and managed to hold on to it for most part of the day. At the pick level Ivey held massive 175,000 chips but than his luck turn and he bled down to 85,000. Later in the day Ivey managed to double up with Shane Warne and got back to the top on the leaderboard and finished in the fourth pace.

At the same Negreanu, Hachem, Alaie, Le, Bloom, Moorman, Ramdin, Watson, Mizzi and Seidel all hit the rail during the course of the day. Mercier had a hard day but managed to hold on and advance into Day 2 with 61,600 chips after he doubled up against Dan Smith with a diamond flush.

Other well-known players who bagged up some good chip stacks were Melanie Weisnser, Jason Koon, David Steicke, Michael Pedley and Tino Lechich.

Registration into Day 2 remains open so there is still chance for more players to enter this event, however the plans for now are to play six tow-hour rounds. Brett Watson, chip leader from Day 1a remains the combined field chip leader with 257,400 chips.
